| Fire Stopped Quickly in Lewistown Borough |

LEWISTOWN, PA - On Friday, May 28, 2010 Mifflin County Communications center dispatched crews from Lewistown Borough to 73 North Pine street for a residential fire. Crews from City Hook and Ladder, Brooklyn Hose Co and United Fire and rescue responded to the call.
Fame Ems arrived on scene and advised county of a working fire in division one of the structure. Crews from City Hook and Ladder had a fast response time and arrived on scene and used a handline to extinguish the blaze. The fire had lots of potential and could have been alot worse but the quick response made the difference in this fire.
Fame Ems was on scene with there rehab unit to the rear of the structure. Crews remained on scene for a half hour and the box was placed available.
